The Montana High School Association requires that a physical exam by a licensed medical provider be performed for students in order for them to be considered eligible for participation in sports activities.  This certification is valid for one school year.  Furthermore, sports physicals conducted BEFORE MAY 1st, are not valid for participation in the following school year. 


Sports Physicals are done during regular office hours with a scheduled appointment. Cost is $35. Insurance can be billed but only one annual visit is covered by insurance per year so if your child is seen by another provider for their wellness the sports physical likely will not be covered by insurance and will increase your out of pocket expense.
